Our Story: A Journey in Alpaca Knitwear
Yapa began with a simple idea: fewer pieces, made in a better way. We design in New York, but our heart is in Bolivia, where every garment is handcrafted with care. Using 100% baby alpaca wool, our Alpaca Clothing is made by skilled knitters who continue centuries-old traditions. The result is timeless knitwear that feels luxurious, durable, and meaningful.Each sweater, cardigan, or accessory carries a story. From the highlands of La Paz, Bolivia; 3,600 meters above sea level, our artisans knit every piece with patience and expertise. Many of our designs are hand embroidered, adding character and authenticity.
